The annual Commemoration of the American Revolution Event will take place in Union Township of Whitley County. The battle was between Colonel Augustin de la Balme; his men and Chief Little Turtle and the Miami Indians.
It took place on or about November 5, 1780. The 244th anniversary of this event will be commemorated on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Any chapter coming would be welcome to place a Wreath at the Memorial site during that part of the ceremony. Please Contact DAR Carol Hart at to let her know of your intentions.
This is a DAR sponsored event. Color Guard muster time is 13:30 (1:30 pm) Some of the SAR members will plan to eat afterwards. See Mark Kreps for details.
