Hear From Our Members

“Our chapter is like a family. We gather for monthly meetings filled with laughter, share meals, learn fascinating history, and then we march together in the Color Guard at local events. It’s meaningful work, genuine friendships, and pure fun all at once. I’ve never felt more proud to be part of something bigger than myself.”

— Robert T. Hamilton, Indiana SAR Color Guard Member

“When I marched in my first Color Guard ceremony, I felt the weight of history and the pride of service. But what surprised me most was how much I looked forward to the chapter camaraderie—the jokes, the dinners, the brotherhood. These aren’t just historical enthusiasts; they’re my friends.”

— James Mitchell, SAR Member

“Being part of the Indiana SAR has enriched my life in ways I never expected. Yes, I’ve discovered incredible stories about my patriot ancestors, but I’ve also found a community of engaged citizens who care deeply about service, history, and each other. The Color Guard work gives our meetings real purpose.”
