Sympohny on the Prairie – Conner Prairie

We recently received notice from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra about the Symphony on the Prairie performances at Conner Prairie in Fishers this year. The dates for this year’s concerts will be:

Before committing to the ISO, we need to know interest and how many of us are available. If you are able to march the hill and have an interest in participating, please let me know through this Google Form within the next couple of weeks. If at all possible, how many and which nights would be helpful.  Once we get an idea on the ISO’s plans and who we have from the SAR, we’ll communicate additional information.

Times and details are to be confirmed, but our traditional muster time is 6:30pm. We will present colors during the National Anthem and climb the hill to the theme from The Patriot.

This is the most visible color guard event for the SAR in Indiana. Short of participating in a professional sports environment, there are few events in the country where we will be in front of so many people in a three day span. Our presence among thousands is a great way to represent our ancestors, publicize the SAR and gain new members.
