Patriot Grave Marking – River View Cemetery – Aurora

Indiana will be the host of the 2024 SAR Central District Meeting with Wayne Eells as Indiana Nominee for Vice President General in Lawrenceburg.

Grave Marking: 15-minutes away from the Central District meeting location, we will conduct a Patriot Grave Marking to honor FIVE Patriots (John Milligan, John Smith, John Stewart, John Stratton and John Young) who gave their lives at Lochry’s Defeat.  It’s a great way to help make a large impact on the local community as we prepare for the 250th.

Color Guard: Because this is a District Meeting, the Color Guard at the meeting / evening dinner counts toward the Silver/Von Steuben Color Guard Medal.  MUSTER TIME 9 AM.

250th: For those working toward their 250th awards, there are 2 opportunities for credit – the meeting and the grave marking.
