Kikthawenund DAR – Pendleton – 250th Event – Sunday, Oct 22nd Madison County Bicentennial

This event will occur at the Grove Lawn Cemetery, East side Sunday Oct 22 in Pendleton, IN 46064. Since Deb Hale, DAR Regent states she wants as many as flags as possible we will muster at 1:00 pm, Sunday, Oct. 22 to assist in set up the various flags. We had a ceremony there on the west side Oct. 11, 2022 last year. She would like the SAR, Society of the War of 1812 representation , Ladies Aux. as well. Charlotte Blair will speak. The Mayor of Anderson and Town Board of Pendelton will be there, along with many various groups. There will be no wreath presentations. A Legacy Marker will be presented as a special 250th commemoration. The DAR is requesting a musket salute. Please notify Mark Kreps if you can assist in attending and completing a musket salute.
