The Clarence A. Cook Chapter, Indiana SAR will be hosting the April meeting of the Indiana SAR House of Delegates. We have an exciting meeting planned and we hope you will be able to attend. The meeting will be on April 27 at the Indiana War Memorial located at 55 Michigan St., Indianapolis, IN.
Prior to the meeting, we will be hosting a Memorial Bench Dedication and Patriot Grave Marking Ceremony for five Patriots buried in unknown or lost grave sites in Marion County, IN. Color Guard participation and wreath presenters are encouraged and welcome. The ceremony will begin at 10am, Color Guard will muster at 9:15am.
After lunch, we will host our Annual Meeting in the Indiana War Memorial beginning at 12:30 where we have important society business, significant state awards, our memorial service, and we will have Governor Holcomb present for his induction as a member of the SAR. The Ladies Auxiliary will host their Silent Auction and donations are welcome and accepted.
