DAR is requesting Indiana SAR Color Guard Participation
District 3 Vice Commander Mark Kreps, Commander Muster 12:15 pm Step 1:00 pm
Saturday, October 1st, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at Crown Hill Cemetery (behind the Gothic Chapel), the Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter, NSDAR, is planning a grave marking ceremony for Revolutionary War Patriots, John Morrow and Hezekiah Smith. We would like to request a SAR Color Guard to participate in the ceremony, and would also like to include any wreath/SAR marker/comments/greetings your organization would like to add (Morrow has a brass SAR marker.) While Crown Hill is not back to full public event attendance, we do have permission to hold this ceremony and have contacted/invited descendants of Morrow and Smith to attend. Refreshments will be served as well.
