The 2024 Central District Meeting will be held in Lawrenceburg, IN on 19 October 2024. We will have a day of full of SAR activity including a Patriot Grave Marking, Lunch, the business meeting, and a dinner with a guest speaker.
The Central District (states of Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia) is led this year by Indiana Compatriot and Vice President General Wayne Eells. It is an honor for Indiana to be represented by a Vice President General and we only have the opportunity to do so every four years. VPG Eells has been active in Indiana for years and we need to show him, and show the District, the support that the Indiana SAR can bring to an event.
Grave Marking:There will be a Patriot Grave Marking for five patriots. This is a great opportunity for those working on their grave marking medals. It’s also a great way to help make a large impact on the local community as we prepare for the 250th. Details in Event Brochure
Color Guard: Because this is a District Meeting, the Color Guard at the meeting / evening dinner counts toward the Silver/Von Steuben Color Guard Medal

250th: For those working toward their 250th awards, there are 2 opportunities for credit – the meeting and the grave marking.
