Blountsville is located in Henry County, south east of Muncie east off of the flashing light on Highway 35.  Andrew Blount is founder of the town and was a fifer during the War of 1812 in Indiana while living in Wayne County, IN. His father William Blount is buried in downtown Muncie under a sidewalk across the street from East Washington Academy on Ohio St. Much work has been gone forth in the past 4 years in making the older part of the cemetery immaculate. Two older veterans have donated much time and  effort to make it happen. There is a gazebo and fantastic staging area for a dedication.  See attached photo.
