• Details will be provided closer to the date, but the color guard will escort a Lafayette interpreter across the Big Four Pedestrian bridge from the Kentucky side to the Indiana side. There will be a reception on the Indiana side along with additional color guard events including flag folding and gun salute.
• The Valley of Louisville Scottish Rite will host a reception and play in honor of General Marquis de Lafayette. The reception will be from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM with light refreshments being served at the Scottish Rite Temple. The play, performed by Abraham Lodge #8 will follow at 7:00 PM. Portraying Lafayette, is professional reenactor Michael Halbert from Colonial Williamsburg.
• This event has been designated as a District Event by Vice President General Wayne Eells for those who are working toward Silver or Von Steuben Color Guard Medals.
