Vincennes is sponsoring a Revolutionary War Reenactment of Paul Revere’s ride. It is the 250th anniversary of the ride on April 18th. Looks like a fun event.

It is however an opportunity to gain points toward a SAR 250 Medal. We can meet at the event. The reenactment can be used to gain points for the event as long as we have the SAR 250 flag present. We can hold a color guard event to display the flags and receive points toward the bronze color guard medal.

We can set up at 5:00 near Paul Revere Square, enjoy the reenactment and the festivities that occur afterwards.

If we have cars parked near Paul Revere Square and some can drive down to Grousland, we can watch the kickoff of the ride and then drive up to Paul Revere Square and wait for the horse to arrive.
