The William Henry Harrison Chapter is holding a Patriot Grave Dedication for George Moore, the only known Patriot buried in Jasper County, who served as a private on the Maryland Line and settled in Barkley Township (approximately 8 miles northeast of Rensselaer) after the war.
The Chapter invites you to join in this somber celebration of our liberty.
For those members working on the Patriot Grave Marking Medal, this is an opportunity to participate by laying a wreath, helping with labor, helping present the program, etc.
If you are interested in fulfilling a role in the ceremony, including laying of a wreath or other participation in the ritual, please contact Compatriot Rob Pfaff (firstname.lastname@example.org).
In any event, we welcome your presence at the dedication. Thank you!
